Uganda is a unique country, known for its gorillas but also the many birds and wildlife including Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is a diverse country with tropical rain forests, high mountains, dense forests, savannah plains and swamps. Uganda is mainly perceived as a green country with very friendly people and very little tourism. Unfortunately, the latter through a tumultuous past that fortunately now behind us. Uganda is also the source of the River Nile from Lake Victoria which is created. Rafting on the Nile is not only spectacular but also a great way to experience nature. Rapids change on quiet parts where abundant bird life. The rocks with deep green tropical forest and blue sky above it are a feast for the eyes.
